Frequently Asked Questions

There are a lot of Attorneys-at-law. Whom should I choose?

It’s a frequent question. In choosing a law firm one should pay attention to the following: in which field of law do they have experience and knowledge, do you have trust for them, in which languages do they give services (in our office is Hungarian, English and German), how is their price calculation, do they have capacity to fulfill their legal tasks and what kind of solutions do they recommend?

Usually, the big international law firms cover the full service spectrum and work the local employees but international prices.
The middle sized law firms (as we are) employ 5-10 people, cover all the important fields law for the economy but specialized and … thei prices are lower that of their “big” competitors.

The individual/private attorney-at-laws or small law firms are the cheapest, but actually can’t provide quick and overall solutions, transactions.
According to the well-known phrase: the cheap is expensive.

When should I turn to an Attorney-at-law?

It’s also a frequent question. We usually work with “given materials” so in the latish period we can only “fire-fight”. Our aim is to prevent “fire”… That’s why this website is operated to provoke thoughts. We always ask our clients to turn to us on time and then we can have more possibilities how to solve the problems.
So the answer to the question above is to turn to an Attorney-at-law in an early stage of the case, because the investment in our advising hourly fee is not proportional to the loss suffered without this.

Is it true that the establishing cost of an Ltd. is around 1000 Euro and the general hourly fee is between 80-250 Euro?

According to the regulations of the Hungarian Law Society/ Bar Association we cannot indicate our prices (neither the name of our clients, references) and we cannot advertise ourselves, so we can only play a yes-and-no question-answer game here on the website. We can give you more complex information in an E-MAIL.

The cost of the establishment depends on all circumstances of the case, but taking the market situation into consideration the cost is approximately like the above mentioned. The cost of establishing a company electronically is 50% of the above in the question in one language!
